heli shortcut to skip the hot air balloon is super sick! Was it intended? If I had to guess, I would guess not because you can do a similar trick at the truck section except this time it makes it unbeatable and you have to go back a checkpoint. Either way, this is an interesting thing to add to the toolbox. Also, to keep both the speedrunning route while fixing the occurrence in a casual playthrough, you can simply add another checkpoint shortly after becoming the hot air balloon, for example.
