The C.S.S. Virginia was an ironclad for the Confederate Navy during the Civil War and sunk a few Union ships before battling the U.S.S Monitor in The Battle of Hampton Roads. The ship was scuttled when the navy yard it was at was seized. Fun Fact the hull is from a sunken union ship.
