case in point: theft's ghost on this track is about as suspicious as it's possible for a ghost to get without the obvious tells of a cheated ghost (namely completely broken inputs), but i don't have any real way to make an argument that it's cheated because the level of input precision in this game is too low.

Tubiek yes, because tas tools being available at all greatly increases the number of cheaters. given the level that the best ghosters are at (or claim to be at), our only current reliable method to detect cheaters is for them to tell us they've been cheating - frhd really isn't a game that's made to handle this sort of thing. is it conceited to say that i'm the only one who has been responsible with those sorts of scripts? yes, but it's not entirely wrong

Tubiek totally agree, people need to stop gatekeeping tas in any way. i should be allowed to go onto jstris and upload 4 second 40Ls, or bot in any online game i want and it's really unfair that this is being kept from me.
