cardiac I think just making unique tracks and thinking outside the box will improve trackmaking. Try to center your track on a unique aspect, like high quality detail, a fun gimmick, or powerups for example. I'm not the best at trackmaking though, so you might be better off asking for advice from more talented trackmakers.
